bryce4_4The follow contains some spoilers for Panty and Stocking first 3 episodes, Akira volume 1, Apocalypse Now Redux, and Gran Torino! So be aware!
Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt is a anime series that came out in 2010 by Ginmax, the Evangalion guys with the 2nd season of this show being made by Trigger(Kill la Kill, Little Witch Academia, Cyberpunk Edgerunners, Delicious in Dungeon). It's an comedy about two fallen Angels, Panty and Stocking, who were kicked out of heaven for being bad, with Panty having the sin of lust, and Stocking having the sin of gluttony. The two are now force to fight ghost to get enough Heaven coins, so they can go back to Heaven with aid by the priest Garterbelt. Though,Panty cares more about fucking billion Men, and Stocking wants to eat sweets non stop.So yeah. Its has the most swears in an anime I've seen. This show despite having questionable clothing themed names for main characters, is surprising very good so far. The animation is very unique, and very vibrant. Though don't let it fool you, this show has a ton of gross out humor, I mean the first episode first segment's villain is a giant pile of poo. So yeah. But really this show is actually very funny. I'm just going to go into ranking now.
Episode 1: seg 1, 8/10 very good, seg 2 9/10 actually really fun episode
Episode 2: seg 1 9/10 in high school everyone wants to be popular also Brief first appearance, seg 2 9/10 Just really funny in general for me
Episode 3: seg 1 9/10 relatable because I have brothers but also awesome animation, seg 2 7/10 Not much happened in this episode and it was really the worst one so far, but still pretty funny
Overall: Having fun so far. I think so far Stocking is the best character in a way, but Panty has the best comedy I feel like. I can't wait to watch more of the show and the new season. Also Panty can turn her panties into fucking guns, and Stocking can turn her Stockings into fucking Swords! Fucking A!
Akira volume 1 was really awesome and also really different in terms of the story. Akira is a story about Kanada, a teenage boy who leads a biker gang in Neo Tokyo in the future after WW3 happened. One night, his friend Tetsuo accidently crashes into a strange looking Boy, that then begins a transformation into something different, more powerful, more dangerous. I have seen the movie but never read the manga, yesterday, I completed the first volume of Akira, and it was not what I was expecting. The story plays out differently than the movies, Kanada get interaction with the resistance group early, including him getting way more time with Kei. We get to look at characters who barley got time in the movie. I'm loving the manga right now. I can't wait to read volume 2. Also, Tetsuo leading the clowns in the manga I was not really expecting. Just can't wait to get volume 2 from the library.

Apocalypse Now is a war movie a soldier and his fellow team in the vietnam war who are on a mission to kill Kirk, soldier who has gone "insane" and has a whole cult behind him. The movie is from the director of the The Godfather. Would I say it's better...I don't know. The story is interesting, but really get's interesting at the end, I think the characters are good, the scenes are really well made and this film has some very beautiful shots. Also the acting is very good. I think the ending though ended a bit abruptly. Like just ended in a weird place. Though the movie was a bit long. Like there were certain scenes that really had no place in being in the movie like the playboy scenes that could have been cut from the movie. Also, the fact that we see a real animal die on screen cut with the antagonist getting killed is really insane. Like I know now that the film makers had no choice as that animal was going to be killed by the people of vietnam, but still. Really hard watch if you are that type of person who hates lots of violence, and war. Still, 8/10. Also I heard of all the problems they had durning production and I even saw the quote "How not to make a movie". So yeah. Also watched Redux, so if you want a much more shorter movie, watch the original cut.
Now last but not least we got Gran Torino. A Clint Eastwood Movie. It's a nice movie. It's about an old man who hates his family and is pretty racist to asians because he was in the Korean War. Anyways, he one day accidentally saves an Asian Family next door from a gang after the little cousin of the family that the gang pressured him into, failed to steal the 1972 Gran Torino the old man had. However, the gang is always looming on the family, and now the boy has to work for the old man because his family wants him to because they are very traditional. The movie is very good and funny at times. Not like the best movie of all time, but a very good one. Watched it with my Mom, she really wanted me to watch this movie, so yeah. Anyways 7.5/10. Not an incredible movie, but a good one with heart.
So that wraps up my first review of this site! Now...why the hell is there underwear that can turn into a gun in my room? Also my socks just turned into swords.................I have supernatural Powers!?!?!?!??!?!?!??!?!?!?!??!!??!?!?!?!?!? GUYS, ILL GO OUTSIDE AND KILL SOME GHOST......(5 minutes later) WELL!!!!!!!!!!!!! I GOT A NEW JOB!!!!!!! ILL BE A PORN STA-I MEAN GHOST HUNTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyways!!!!!!!!!
